Due to flooding on part of the route to Hull i have decided to change destination, its now going to be Harrogate. Our subsidised tickets will still cover us for this journey only costing us £10 each The train leaves Rotherham at 10;28 so if we could meet up at 10;10 to sort tickets out that would be great.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOUR ABLE/UNABLE TO DO THIS TRIP as we need to sort out the train tickets out.

Cheers Andy

Home-Brew Competition

This year, for the first time, we’re having a competition at the Rotherham CAMRA Beer Festival to find the best home-brewer in Rotherham.

Simply submit your beer along with the style and ABV and it will be tasted by the Rotherham CAMRA accredited tasting panel at the Festival.

The winning beer will be brewed commercially by Chantry Brewery in time for the Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival at Magna in February 2020.

To enter, contact Steve Burns on for further details.

Get brewing and good luck!

The pub belongs to Samuel Smiths who have a company policy of refusing to serve motorcyclists, confirmed by the management at the Royal Oak.

The CAMRA regional director confirms that pubs with a “dress code” cannot be entered for CAMRA awards.
