We have been invited by the Barnsley Branch of CAMRA to contest the Wentworth Cup again., the date will be Sunday August 19th at The Crown Inn, Elsecar starting time: from 2pm. Details of the challenge have yet to be revealed 😊

Public transport via the 227 buses from Rotherham or train from Meadowhall.

We hope to see lots of you there to participate and give support.

NOTE: The Royal Oak at Ulley was withdrawn from the nominations for Autumn 2017 Pub of the Season.

The pub belongs to Samuel Smiths who have a company policy of refusing to serve motorcyclists, confirmed by the management at the Royal Oak.

The CAMRA regional director confirms that pubs with a “dress code” cannot be entered for CAMRA awards.
